How to Cancel a Pre-Order for a Game on Nintendo eShop

In this article, you'll learn how to cancel a pre-order you have placed for a game on Nintendo eShop.

Important:

A pre-order can only be cancelled if it is 7 days or longer before the game’s release.

Before you start

You will need:

  • Access to the Nintendo Account that was used to place the pre-order.

  • One of the following:

    • Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch console.

    • A computer with internet access.

    • A smart device with internet access.

What to do

To cancel your pre-order, you need access to the Nintendo Account that was used to place the pre-order, as well as access to either a console or an internet browser on a computer or smart device.

What will you use to cancel your pre-order?
  1. From the HOME Menu, open Nintendo eShop and select the user who placed the pre-order.

  2. Select your user icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.

  3. Select Pre-Orders from the right-hand menu to view any pre-orders you have placed.

  4. Select Cancel Pre-Order next to the pre-order you wish to cancel.
