How to Unlink a PayPal Account from a Nintendo Account
Instructions on unlinking PayPal information that has been saved to a Nintendo Account.
Additional Information
Linked PayPal account information can be deleted on the Nintendo Switch eShop or through your profile settings on the Nintendo Account website. Deleting the information in one place will also delete it from the other.
Complete These Steps
Do you want to unlink the PayPal account through Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch or through your Nintendo Account profile settings?
Select the Nintendo eShop icon on the HOME Menu to launch Nintendo eShop.
Select the Nintendo Account with the PayPal account that you want to unlink.
Select the picture of your icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
Part of the email address associated with the PayPal account will appear in the “PayPal” section. Select Unlink.
Select Unlink again to confirm.
Visit http://accounts.nintendo.com and sign in to your Nintendo Account.
Select Funds and Payment Methods.
Select Manage payment method in the "PayPal" section.
Part of the email address associated with the PayPal account will appear in the “PayPal” section. Select Unlink.
If a PayPal account has not been linked to the Nintendo Account, the PayPal area will say “Not set”.
Select Unlink again to confirm.
