How to Complete a My Nintendo Mission

Step-by-step instructions on completing My Nintendo missions.

Gold Points are earned by registering a physical Nintendo Switch game released on or before March 24, 2025.

Insert the game card into the Nintendo Switch console.
Highlight the game icon on the Nintendo Switch HOME menu.
Press the + or – Button to access the software Options menu.
Highlight My Nintendo Rewards Program, then select Earn Points (Game Card version only).
Select the Nintendo Account where you want to apply the Gold Points.

Sign in to your Nintendo Account.
Go to https://my.nintendo.com.
Select "Menu" in the upper-left corner, then select "Earn points" to see a current list of active missions.
Select "Mission briefing" under each mission to read details about how to complete it.
Follow the instructions in the mission details to complete the mission.
- Example: link your social network account(s) to your Nintendo Account.
Once you have completed the mission terms, return to the My Nintendo missions page.
Locate the mission on the page and select "Collect points".
- You can also select "Collect now" at the bottom of the page to receive all points you have not yet collected.
- These missions may also have a timeframe during which the points must be collected. If this time passes, the mission will count as completed but the points will not be granted.
The Platinum Points will be added to your point total (visible in the top-right corner of the screen).

Nintendo Switch Online missions are completed by using Nintendo Switch Online on your Nintendo Switch console.

Launch Nintendo Switch Online from the HOME Menu.
Select Missions & Rewards.
Select the Super Mushroom seal icon at the top of the screen to open the Mission Status page, which displays the current list of active missions.
Select How can I complete missions? under each mission to read the details about how to complete it.
Follow the instructions in the mission details to complete the mission.
Once you have completed the mission requirements, launch Nintendo Switch Online from the HOME Menu again. The Platinum Points will be automatically added to your point total.
- The completion status for Nintendo Switch Online missions may be delayed when the Nintendo Switch Online services are experiencing high traffic. If the mission is not completing right away, please check the mission status later.

On your smart device or tablet, access the application that you want to complete the mission for.

- Example: "Change your Mii's clothes once in a day (daily)".
