Take on the DK Challenge for a limited time!

The limited-time DK Challenge event is now on!

Until 1st September 2026 (17:59 AEST / 19:59 NZST), Nintendo Switch Online members on Nintendo Switch 2 can collect digital Challenge Cards by completing in-game challenges in a range of Donkey Kong titles.

In Donkey Kong Bananza, you’ll find a host of challenges ranging from beginner-friendly ones to tougher Developer Challenges that’ll drive even the most experienced players a bit bananas!

Even more challenges await in selected games from the Donkey Kong series, available via Nintendo Classics. When you take on one of these, you’ll be able to jump directly into the game and tackle the challenge right away.

Rediscover Donkey Kong games, play challenges and complete your card collection! The DK Challenge can be accessed via the Nintendo Switch Online app on the HOME menu of your Nintendo Switch 2.

A Nintendo Account and active Nintendo Switch Online or Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership is required to participate. Internet access required for online features. Terms and conditions apply.

When starting the DK Challenge, some Donkey Kong Bananza challenges may be marked as cleared based on your save data.

If you’re unable to collect a Challenge Card after completing a challenge, please try restarting the software.
