Oh, and if you need more information on how to add friends via GameChat on Nintendo Switch 2, please visit our step-by-step guide here.
Play multiplayer with just the one game using GameShare
You can use GameShare to share supported games with friends and family—even if they don’t have the game. A Nintendo Switch 2 system can share compatible games with a nearby Nintendo Switch 2 or, sometimes, even a Nintendo Switch, letting everyone be able to play. (Compatibility varies by game.)
Give GameShare a whirl with these compatible games!
Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection

Step into the arena and choose your fighter! Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection includes all the essential games from Mortal Kombat's early years. Use the local GameShare feature to face off against a friend on your own systems. Experience the legendary origins of the franchise with the iconic arcade classics that started it all—alongside a curated selection of most-loved home versions and rare, fan-favourite releases—together!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

Brace yourself for fast-paced, roguelike action where no two runs are the same. With randomised power-ups, room layouts, and boss modifiers, the excitement never ends. Players can take control of all four Turtles, each wielding unique powers, and team up with friends for bodacious co-op gameplay over GameShare. Explore iconic NYC locations, upgrade your Turtle powers, and prepare to face off against formidable enemies!
Overcooked! 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

The cooking chaos of Overcooked! 2 hits Nintendo Switch 2 with a host of new features—including online or local GameShare! After saving the Onion Kingdom in the original Overcooked!, you and your team of up to four chefs are needed once more to stave off the hunger of The Unbread. You’ll knead to work together (or against each other) to get the highest score in chaotic multiplayer!
Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV

You can share part of the game with up to three people, and then play the Mega Wiggler’s Tree Party board in Mario Party mode together. Keep in mind only Party Rules and a selection of 30 minigames in handheld mode are available with GameShare.
Hang out with your buds in GameChat
You can easily chat with friends, play together online, share your screen with up to 3 friends, and more via GameChat for Nintendo Switch 2 systems. The system’s built-in mic makes it easy to talk to friends—no accessories required.
Remember: everyone can do their own thing in a GameChat session, so you don’t have to be playing the same game. (Or even be playing a game at all—whoa.)
Here are a few games that can be fun to experience together!
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

Samus Aran may typically be a lone hunter, but that doesn’t mean you have to be! Share your screen in GameChat to share the beauty—and dangers—and puzzles—of the mysterious planet Viewros with friends. Use newfound psychic abilities and a technologically advanced bike to uncover the mysteries of the indigenous Lamorn. (You can also show off your optional mouse-control skills, if you so choose to play that way.)
STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

The country life is more fun with friends! Build your farm in Zephyr Town and breathe new life into the once-famous bazaar. Set up your stall to sell produce and goods from the crops and animals you raise on your farm, and meet charming townsfolk to befriend and romance as you help the close-knit community thrive. Show off your in-game work, pals, or boo with your real-world pals (or boo).
Mario Kart World

From wide-open courses to new techniques to master, there are a lot of destinations to explore and cool tricks to show your buddies, whether you’re racing or roaming. Hit the open road together and enjoy moments like crossing the finish line or getting tripped up just before the win.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

It’s dangerous to go alone, so why not share your journey with your friends? Enjoy the breathtaking sights, show off your cool discoveries and creations made with the Ultrahand and Fuse abilities, or get some advice to solve a tricky puzzle that’s got you stumped.
