Fight for ancient Hyrule

Princess Zelda
A Hyrulean princess who has been transported to this era from the distant future and is searching for a way home.
King Rauru
The first king of Hyrule and one of the last surviving Zonai. He wields the power of light and a secret stone borne by his people when they descended from the heavens long ago.
Queen Sonia
The founding queen of Hyrule, this gentle soul governs at Rauru's side, supporting him with her boundless wisdom. She carries a secret stone and wields the power of time.
Mineru
Rauru's elder sister and an expert on the Zonai. She is often found researching constructs and other technological wonders in her study. She possesses a secret stone and the unique ability to separate her spirit from her body.
Ganondorf
The only male born to the Gerudo in one hundred years, made chieftain in accordance with their laws.
Water Sage: Qia
The Zora queen and a skilled fighter whose courage and valour inspire her people.
Fire Sage: Agraston
The worldly chief of the Gorons. Though calm and intellectual, he will readily fight tooth and nail for his companions.
Wind Sage: Raphica
The quick-witted leader of the Rito. Despite his aloof demeanour, he is a considerate and steadfast ally.
Ardi
A compassionate leader among the Gerudo who is bound by Gerudo law to serve Ganondorf.
Battle hordes of enemies
Venture across Hyrule – as well as through the murky Depths beneath the surface – and unleash spectacular attacks to take down powerful bosses and their legions of minions.
Deploy powerful Zonai Devices alongside your heroes’ signature abilities to gain victory. Clear away enemies with a Hydrant, heat things up with a Flame Emitter, make explosive plays with the Time Bomb and more!
Pair up with nearby allies to unleash mighty Sync Strikes. Depending on which characters combine their efforts, Sync Strikes can deal high damage or deploy other effects to help you turn the tide of battle.
Team up with a friend
Join up with a friend for two-player local co-op, and you can spread out to cover more ground as the war unfolds – or stick together and combine your powers to smash the opposition. Play split-screen on the same console, or on two separate consoles – locally or online – via GameShare*.
Compatible with amiibo
Scan any The Legend of Zelda series amiibo figure (sold separately) to get in-game rewards including crafting materials and other items that you might find helpful in your quest to defeat Ganondorf!
Additional bonuses
If you have save data from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, you’ll receive a High Guard’s Sword or High Guard’s Claymore respectively when you play. These weapons can be redeemed after returning to the Hyrule map upon completion of The Howling Tempests mission.
