Quality Assurance Engineer
Recognised in our sector by an extensive, reputable history and broad product range, Nintendo Australia is recruiting a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Reporting into the IS Senior Business Analyst, this role is responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of the overall IS testing strategy to improve business efficiency and productivity.

Key requirements for the role include:
Assisting users with acceptance testing of major / minor application updates.
Communicating with peers to construct and contribute to development and testing processes.
Working with business analysts and developers to break down requirements into deliverable and testable components.
Defining and delivering regression tests.
Performing manual and automated testing.
Raising / monitoring / closing issues and improvements in helpdesk.
Maintaining and updating internal documentation and guides around QA.
Assisting the IS Manager with the delivery of approved projects as identified within the IS department strategy.
Out of hours attendance may be required to reduce the impact of downtime to the business.
To succeed in the role, you will require:
Minimum Diploma in Information Technology.
3-4 years’ experience in devising and executing test plans.
Knowledge of appropriate testing frameworks and methodologies.
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
Well-developed and demonstrated interpersonal, consultation, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.
